Peter B. Williams - Teaching a Class Series on Working with Emotions in Meditation Practice This is a summary of a 12-week series I did on working with emotions in meditation practice. This seems to be a hot topic for people, as my ongoing sitting group doubled in size when this series began. The class met once a week for one and a half hours. (Two hours would probably work better). The first link is an outline of the presentation I gave at our 4th CDL meeting on teaching this series. The remaining links are class material, in the order that I taught the material to my sitting group. The next two links are essays on working with emotions in general. I covered this material in the first class and emailed it to class participants afterwards. Following that are summaries of individual classes on specific emotions (emailed to class participants after each class). I taught difficult emotions first (the links from fear down to jealousy) and then positive emotions (links from love down to gratitude).
